Lend-A-Hand Presents at Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA)
(May 25, 2010)
As part of the Asian Heritage Month (May 2010) celebrations, Lend-A-Hand
India was invited by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to make
a presentation about how renewable energy and recycling is incorporated
into its job and life skills program. We would like to thank the
host, Deputy Regional Administrator (EPA-region 2), Mr. George Pavlou
for this opportunity and Mr. Johny Chiang and Mr. Richard Kan for
organizing the event.
After the event, Mr. Pavlou said "We here at EPA applaud
Lend-A-Hand India and cheer you on. May be indeed we can work together
with the Government of India and Lend A Hand India on an environmental
educational project".
Here are some of the pictures depicting our school children working
