There are 36 million unemployed youth in India. Of these 24 million live in villages and substantial number move to cities in search of employment. One of the reasons for unemployment among youth is the significant disconnect between the school education and the opportunities, skills, and exposure necessary to achieve full potential and earn livelihood.

Working at the intersection of education and livelihood, we create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for the rural youth. We make the school education practical and relevant by providing job/life skills training, aptitude testing, career counseling, and bridge loan for micro-enterprises.

Working primarily in secondary schools from rural India, we have reached 12,000 students from over 100 villages in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa as of 2012. The programs have led to increase in enrollment, enhancement of academic performance, reduction in the dropout rate, and higher number of secondary school graduates opting for technical education.
