Midnight Run/Walk in Central Park to celebrate
the New Year (Dec 31,2006)
Friends of Lend-A-Hand India joined thousands of people in the
Central Park to celerbate the new year. A 4 mile walk/run in the
Central Park started off with exploding fire-works and serving of
champagne at the mid-point. Our youngest volunteer was two years
old Krishna, undertaking his first 5K walk ! (of course, in a stroller)

Midnight Walk/Run
Usher in 2007 with speedy style! Featuring a costume
parade, dancing, and fireworks, this four-miler is more of a party
than a race. Count down the minutes ’til midnight and then count
down the miles ’til the finish line.
