Sunanda Mane, Co-founder & President

Sunanda, a co-founder and the brain behind Lend-A-Hand India, has
been working in the development sector for more than a decade. She
has held positions as State Director, Program Director, and Consultant
in national and international organizations such as CARE, Society
for Service to Voluntary Agencies, Management Resources Inc, UNDP,
and the World Bank. Sunanda is also a member of the Executive Committee
of the New York-based Maharashtra Foundation. Sunanda has traveled
extensively in India and in South and Central Asia. She divides
her time between New York and India office.
Abhay Patil, Executive Director (India)

Abhay joined the Lend-A-Hand Team in July 2007. Abhay has a diverse
background of working in IT and Engineering sector of over twenty
years. After working for ten years in the Silicon Valley, he returned
to India in 2001 to give his time for social development work. His
last assignment was as Director of CXO Systems, acquired by Cisco
India in November 06. Previously, he worked with WebMD (Principal
Engineer), Softplus Inc (Software Architect), Godrej and Rolta Computers.
Abhay holds a masters degree in Structural Engineering from IIT
Mumbai and Bachelor in Civil Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai.
Archana Gojame, Program Associate (India)

Archana holds bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has recently completed
Master’s Program in Social Work from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Archana
comes from a family with a strong background in voluntary and non-profit
sector. During the course of her master’s program Archana has earned
experience of working as a case worker, group counselor, and community
organizer. Archana joined Lend-A-Hand India team in 2006 and assists
in field visits, data base management, and coordination.
Prabhakar Patil, Program Associate (India)
Prabhakar started his association with non-profit sector from his
student days. He has over fifteen years of experience of working
with youth development programs. His area of training and experience
is communication, publishing and publicity. He coordinates and monitors
Project Swadheen, under which aptitude testing and career counseling
activities are conducted in six villages. Approximately 600 high
school students undergo this program every year and Prabhakar has
been coordinating this project since its inception in 2005. Prabhakar
is a qualified Art teacher and also holds a diploma in Commercial
Art.

Akshaya has worked in energy consulting for over 7 years both in
the US and abroad. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the Kellogg
School of Management at Northwestern University.
Ani Khatri

Ani has a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering along with
a minor in Economics from Georgia Tech. He currently works for Deloitte
Consulting in New York focused on financial services industry. In
addition to Lend-A-Hand India, Ani is also involved with Junior
Achievement and INROADS.
Anuradha Gupta

Anu studied MMS at the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences,
Pilani and got her MBA (International Business) at IIFT, Delhi.
She worked with Unilever, India in Exports and Marketing followed
by several stints in social infrastructure, market research and
taught briefly at SP Jain, a business school in India. Anu is also
a writer and has published two books for children.
Dina Deligiorgis

Dina has more than seven years of domestic and international experience
in the fields of development and human rights. She has worked as
a consultant with the United Nations Development Program and the
World Bank, in addition to non-governmental organizations in Brazil
and Ghana.
Raj Gilda, Co-founder

Raj, a co-founder of Lend-A-Hand India, is an electronics engineer
and MBA from University of Texas at Austin. He started his career
with Deloitte Consulting and currently works with Citigroup in New
York. In India Raj worked with National Stock Exchange and Infrastructure
Leasing and Financial Services in Mumbai. He has been honored with
the US President's Award in recognition of his voluntary service
for last three years.
2005. Prabhakar is a qualified Art teacher
and also holds a diploma in Commercial Art.
