"Samosa Saturday"
with a Bollywood Movie (August 5, 2006)
Our first Samosa Saturday with a Bollywood movie was a huge success
with standing room crowd only. Over 25 friends of Lend-A-Hand India
enjoyed the movie "Corporate" and learnt about our programs
along the way. With spicy samosas from Journal Square and popcorn/soda
and chips with some pool play...it was a fun filled evening for
everyone. Kudos to Pooja, Anshu, Amita and Prashant for organizing
such an amazing event !

The Mechbull - "mechanical bull" - is a mini-tractor
designed by a 15-year-old student of Vigyan Ashram. It is smaller
and cheaper than conventional tractors, that many farmers in this
rural area simply cannot afford.
