Sponsor Punyashree's "Run for a
dream" - a dream to make a difference
Dear All,
As many of you know, I'm currently training to run a half marathon,
the Philadelphia Half Marathon on November 18th. I've always admired
people who run long distance races and am thrilled to be finally
on the path towards accomplishing this myself. As a running "novice",
going from zero to 13 is proving to be a true test of my physical
and mental strength and I love every moment of it (well, more like
after training!).
As exciting as completing the race will be, what will make this
experience even more special is making a difference for a cause
that I truly believe in. Lend-A-Hand India is an organization that
provides vocational training, educational assistance and small loans
to hundreds of deserving high school students from poorer communities
in India. What better way to help than by empowering them to be
self sufficient and contributing members of society. You can learn
more about the mission and activities of this organization by clicking
on www.lend-a-hand-india.org
