You and a group of friends can sponsor a Vocational Training Center as a part of PLAN 100, a project to equip 20,000 girls and boys from 100 high schools in rural India with job and life skills by 2010, in various ways.

With the help of a number of dedicated volunteers, Lend-A-Hand India operates its programs as economically as possible - 86 cents of every dollar raised is used for programs. Thank You!

• $4000 . . . Pays for a year of the operating costs of training programs for a class of 200 students (includes teacher’s salaries, consumables, coordination, and monitoring) OR meets the capital cost of launching a vocational training center at a high school
  
  
• $1500 . . . Pays to purchase a PC and internet facility for a high school
  
  
• $400 . . . Pays the one-year salary of a trainer in a school
  
  
• $100 . . . Pays for the tuition fees of two boys/girls for a vocational training program or a community development program
