Sponsor Timir's Mount Kilimanjaro Adventure - a Climb to Make a Difference

Timir is training hard to climb the Mount Kilimanjaro - the tallest free standing mountain and one of the largest volcano in the world rising 15,000 feet from the base. Undertaking this journey of hiking for 6 continuous days covering over 97 kilometers! The base of the mountain being a rainforest will be 35 degrees Celsius, while the summit will be -20 degrees Celsius at the elevation of over 19,000 feet, vertical height of 5.8 kilometers. The last day of the climb will be a 12 hour march over night to see the sunrise at the highest peak in Africa! The money raised will go toward providing vocational training and career counseling to hundreds of deserving boys and girls from poor communities in India generating employment opportunities for them and their families.
